Getting a good night’s sleep is not a luxury – it’s a necessity! After all, we spend one third of our life in this room. But, do you wake up feeling refreshed and rested? It may be time to take an inventory of your bedroom. Are you sleeping on organic bedding materials? Is this room free of EMF’s and clutter? Does it have an air purifier and good air circulation? Are there hard surfaces on the floor? Is it well maintained and dust-free? And, finally, what about lighting and color? These are also important factors that affect the psychology of our mood and sleep. Below is a helpful infographic to assist you in designing a restful bedroom to ensure a proper night’s sleep. Most people don鈥檛 realize how much they can improve the quality of their sleep by making a few simple changes. There are so many things that can negatively impact sleep, such as bedtime allergies! Luckily, there are a few really effective changes we can make such as using hypoallergenic bedding and placing an air purifier in the bedroom

Hi Ron and Lisa! I have a really cozy tiny bedroom and it’s impossible to not to be sleeping next to an outlet. Have there been any studies on shungite blocks to help counter EMFs? I’ve seen shungite promoted for releasing negative energy and protection, including EMFs (for cell phones, laptops, etc.). Thanks 馃檪

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for your great question. There have been studies by the Scientific Research Institute for New Medical Technologies http://www.niinmt.ru/history-eng.html We personally use shungite and don’t really argue with the 2 billion year old properties of this healing rock (also used in rooms in the Russian including the Military Medical Academy in Saint Petersburg) see results: https://shungit-store.com/es/shungite-new/conclusion_of_military_medical_academy.
That being said, the outlets in your room are only a small portion of the potential sources of EMF’s and don’t include electromagnetic radiation from Wi-Fi and external sources (ie: cell towers). If you’d like to schedule a consultation with us to identify and remedy these hot spots, you can book directly here: https://live.vcita.com/site/d7b1094e6c2144a3 NOTE: We can also help you arrange an EMF/EMR evaluation of your environment.
