We all love our furry friends – and rightfully so! They love us unconditionally, make great companions and truly do become part of the family unit. Oh, almost forgot…they can be quite protective (as in…even your CAT saving you from a neighbor’s bullying DOG.聽 If you missed it, check out this amazing cat hero video here). No coincidence, but this cat was a stray the family adopted! But are you aware that, in the U.S. today, animal shelters care for 6-8 million dogs and cats every year, of whom approximately 3-4 million are euthanized according to the Humane Society? This is a staggering number and it doesn’t have to be this way. Next time you are shopping for a dog or cat, please consider adoption. It saves a life. Also, if you suspect animal abuse, follow the steps below to report it immediately.

I love your website and I just wanted to say Thank You!! for educating your viewers on the importance of spay and neutering their animals, as well as animal abuse. So many people don鈥檛 realize that most dogs and cats purchased in a pet store came from a puppy mill and that the animal had to endure tremendous suffering while at the puppy mill. Please save a life and adopt from your local animal shelter.

I’d also like to remind people to shop cruelty free. Major cosmetic and cleaning product companies use animals(beagles,cats,rabbits,monkeys) to test toxic ingredients.
