The Importance of Maintaining Healthy Humidity Levels
Healthy indoor humidity levels should be between 30-50%, according to the Environmental Protection Agency’s recommendations. Too much humidity can cause mold growth. Radon detector. Here in Pennsylvania, radon is a serious problem. My neighbor, 4 houses down, had to get an air pumping system installed to keep her basement safe since the levels were so high. My radon level is marginal, but I can’t afford to have a system installed.
