  29. I think it is SO wonderful that you are so aware of all of the toxic things that are in our every day life and how you help so many people and bring awareness. Unfortunately, I have learned the hard way about all of this. My family is sick from hidden toxic mold and we had to get organic mattresses , and it was the BEST purchase ever. My young daughter could not walk when she got out of bed in her traditional mattress, as her body is full of inflammation and toxins already, so she was absorbing more and breathing more. Thank God for organic, now she sleeps well, breathes better and doesn’t hurt as much when she gets up, she can walk. Thank God..You are amazing, keep up the good work. I wish our whole house could be toxic free, ours is pretty empty because of so many things off gassing..one day, we will get there…Our girls rooms have a bed in them, no curtains, no night stands..I have to find non toxic things to put in their rooms… Thanks so much for always sharing great information and spreading the word. So many people don’t know about these things.

  30. It’s also so crazy how so many don’t know about all of this. We get so excited about having a baby and having the best for them, decorate their nurseries, with toxic paint, toxic off gassing furniture, mattresses…I didn’t know this when my girls were babies. I am SO thankful you put all of this out there. We wonder why our babies sometimes cannot sleep at night, or are collicky, maybe they feel so terrible from all of the off gassing and the poor air quality. So many terrible symptoms from these things, and they cannot tell us , only cry. I hope more people realize this and buy organic and non toxic furniture, paint, etc when having babies…and for themselves. I can’t even imagine going into a room that’s freshly painted with all new furniture..especially in the cold months, when they are all closed up and no airing out w/ windows open. It travels into the HVAC system, so everytime the heater is turned on..there’s more going into the air. Yuck….I adore your site and information…

  36. I never even considered what toxins could be in a baby mattress until your post and learning about Sleep Lily. I’m now convinced that’s something incredibly important to look for when searching for a mattress for my baby’s crib! I love that the mattresses don’t include flame-retardants or other harmful toxins and they’re mildew resistant! Also really love the 90 day “trial” period.
