I am a real housewife of Orange County (no, really!), but unlike the TV cast of the Real Housewives of OC reality show I, unfortunately, do not possess a traveling glam squad. And, while that lavish lifestyle is soo over-the-top, let’s face it – we all want to channel our inner-glam-goddess every once in a while. While some gals prefer lash-boosting serums such as Latisse, I say stay far away. The list of potential side effects including skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes and redness of the eyelids and worse (taken directly from the safety info page on their website), ‘May cause brown darkening of the colored part of the eye which is likely permanent’. Um, no thanks.

Lash Extensions
There are also lash extensions (which I’ve had done a few times). While lash extensions sure look pretty for a bit, they are beyond high maintenance. With that high maintenance also comes high cost.
