  5. I have read about these filters several years ago, when I was concerned about our water. But we moved since and we have great water. But a daughter of mine wants one of the Crown Berkeys SO badly.

  24. I think it’s awesome that they’re gravity fed/ can still be used when the power is out. Power doesn’t go out often here but it’s nice to know anyways.

  25. We used to drink city water (yuck) or distilled water from the grocery store. (I know, bad plastic.) We just got the big berkey royal. I never knew water could TASTE SO GOOD!
    What a DIFFERENCE. Used to hate drinking water. Now I love it!

  37. I am most pumped to someday own the royal berkey, ive had one in my basket online for over a year now and would loooove to drink clean water! One thing i have learned is a berkey can cleanse the water of horomone altering substances, since my cycles been messed up past four times i can help but wonder what my water is doing to contribute to this issue!

      Yes, the EDC’s (endocrine disrupting chemicals) from products are found in our air, dust, water + food and contribute to the imbalance of our entire hormonal system. We have quite a bit of information on this site on how to reduce exposure and/or avoid them. This unit sounds like it would be a big help to you! Best of luck 🙂

  47. The most important feature for me is the capacity of 2.75 gallons (10.4 liters).
    With my current system I run out of drinking water.
