That quote could not be more fitting in today's current political chaos, prolong pandemic lingering lockdowns and pure bizarreness that is the year of 2020. Lisa Beres How would you like to be born in the Ozarks? under a double rainbow and in a teepee. Our guest today was hanging till the end friends because we're going to dive more into that later. And you can learn more at RainbowMars.com. Lisa Beres Welcome to the show. Rainbeau Mars You guys are the best hype team. Every effort I'm bringing you with us we got to bring you on the floor. Ron Beres We're paired it down rainbow. We're paired that down for you. Lisa Beres It's evening and we're still full of energy. So, rainbow I want to dive right in we have so much to cover today. So natural living was clearly a progression for you. And I really want to get into essential oils because I know you have a partnership through your I live oil with doTERRA. But a lot of people think we're really going we're really jumping the boomerang here from tepees to a lot of people think that essential oils are just for smell. So, can you tell us what's therapeutic? Why would you need essential oils? And a question that we get asked a lot is, oh, doesn't matter what brand I buy? Can I just go down to the health food store and buy whatever? Or can I order the cheapest brand on Amazon? Rainbeau Mars Yeah, cuz I saw you guys always talk about diffusing and your amazing home and health natural health care things. And I was like, that's so cool, because I think that our intentions are good with wanting to diffuse plants. But for sure, definitely. They're not all created equally. We want to consider the seed of anything, how even how is the quality versus the quantity? So specifically, I was I knew the effects of essential oils, right? They've been used for by millions of people for 1000s of years. They were used in Harappa, India like as I said. My teachers my god mothers teacher is still alive at 140 I mean that's rumor has 140. Oh, it's like 140 I mean, that's something happened in the last year I don't have the document but so far, I knew you baby Jesus was given frankincense, myrrh and gold. This is an ancient Egypt in the bubonic plague the actual where the aromatherapy sort of flower would be used to make the perfumes for the king and queen. The plague didn't hit there. Lisa Beres Wasn't it thieves the thieves blend and I heard they named at Thieves because the thieves would try to steal the essential oil blend because? Ron Beres From people with leprosy. Rainbeau Mars Well, that's a whole other I mean, yes, that type of combination in the plague was cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, but I'm just talking about even the people that worked in the flowers, the immunity of the plants protects humans as well. Yes, clove is the highest antioxidant in the world, all oils are not but coming to this moment, all oils are not created equally. And so, but they all are antiviral, bacterial and microbial because it's the immunity the terpenes of the plants, they permeate the cell wall. That said, we've never really standardized our oils in an oil can say it's organic, and actually be only 10%. Organic. So, there's a lot of fillers, solvents, dilutions, because a lot of people are looking for the bottom line of the dollar and looking quantity versus quality. So, would you want to put something on your skin? If you know if you know like what else is in it? Who knows it because it you say okay, I want to use something like frankincense, which I just put on my face, which is like liquid golden liquid light, and it helps to harmonize cells. But like would you want to put something if it's like, oh, well, I only got this at this store for this price. Lisa Beres Right? Why is it cheap? Rainbeau Mars That you don't know. So, this is the first thing I got excited actually it made me become more like my lineage, I would say because I had kind of, you know, was creating a house in Hawaii and working on sort of the next phase producing a film. And because these are the plants that we're working with go through these seven levels of water distillation. So, there's zero impurities, you can feel the vibration of their cadenas and their certified pure therapeutic grade that CBG it has. Lisa Beres Okay, let's say that again. For those listening, you want CPG certified pure Rainbeau Mars CPTG certified pure therapeutic grade therapy 100% just the plant you can't have you can't be taking something, you know, internally. Lisa Beres Yeah. Rainbeau Mars Well, this one's only $10.99. Yeah, look at pages with frankincense and cancer cells, you will see that in that they eat cancer cells like this is the one that we it's better than a bottle of wine, I get excited about Frankincense. So, to be able to hold it Unknown Speaker A new house warming gift, stop bringing wine bring Frankincense. Rainbeau Mars 1,000% to be able to have this for wholesale and to come directly to your doorstep. And each bottle also helps support like farming in Boswell where it comes. We help support, you know, hospitals and schools in that working directly with the tribes and a coach in a very exclusive partnership with the tribes that are helping to sustain the tree. So, it's all part of it. Lisa Beres So, it's all it's all full circle. And I know they always have to be in a glass bottle, right? Because they are, they need to be in a dark, a dark glass bottle, not just a clear right to preserve, Rainbeau Mars I think to protect them. But funny. Yes, I find that these because of the water distillation and their cleanliness, I feel like they have a really long shelf life. But of course, they should be in glass because it would eat away any plastic so you would never put in anything but that but just to give you like because Oliver was just here. You know, I didn't trust like the vet he had actually ringworm from getting his hand his hair shampooed and conditioned. And I didn't know what to do with cats like right, I might know about myself. What do I do with cats? And I know they work for myself. But I got the solution from the that for and I'll just put him here. Lisa Beres Theres Oliver just made a cameo. Rainbeau Mars And nothing happens. Oh, cute. Little Russian. he's a he's a Russian but you know, he, he does I have the Frankincense. He thinks I'm okay. But the point is, is I use the frankincense and lavender. And in a day, it worked. I just wanted to kind of demonstrate one ratio of how much more powerful it can actually be. Somebody says he just thinks, Lisa Beres Yeah, yeah, I love that. Rainbeau Mars Eye infection that's also happening with our body. So, you know, if you're putting them with your pets or anything else, it's for sure going in their bloodstream. So of course, you want the purist and to breathe it in because you're going to be breathing in those molecules, it's going to clean the air on its own. Okay. Ron Beres And that particular certification that you mentioned, is that a standard certification that's, you know, around the globe? Or what? Yeah, or what how can you outside of that certification? How can you determine how pure the essential oil is, because you mentioned seven grades? Rainbeau Mars Theres only one company so far. I mean, let's be honest, but I wish that there were more companies, but you have to go through third party testing, you have to make sure that there's nothing else in there. Actually, all companies were invited to meet them and this new standard of oils, because there should be we should be able to have the blessing of pure lavender, pure labeling term, your mark and Rose and to be able to use it not just aromatically which, you know, we've said this but also topically, and also internally. Now we're when we're dealing with eternally that things, something that can permeate the cell wall and work on viruses. That's cute. We're about to actually open for hospitals. And so, the level of like the science, this is basically Harvard science meets Mother Nature. We also have a whole supplement line. So, you're getting like a daily dosage of these food grade oils. Why the wild edible plants from the garden metals milk thistle dandelion, you get like also night, getting that blood that RSA 98 minerals. All these amatory coenzyme Q 10. So, all of a sudden, as like a yoga teacher, as a healer or anyone that we've tried to say, Hey, why don't we eat more plants? Somebody else that's sort of like helping to enlighten and, and help to preserve and regenerate our little Earth is working along with the farmers, and then we're delivering this, like, the supplements needs oil straight to people's doorsteps, and people are having an experience of a life change because their cells are regenerating. Wow. And it's really that's what our that's what Mother Nature does. It's really Mother Nature. Lisa Beres It's Mother Nature, right? It's, it's going back to the basics. And a lot of people think it's, you know, we have Western medicine, we have all these pharmaceuticals. And now they're hearing about oils, when yet it's the other way around like those were here first. And the first time I think Ron and I were introduced to essential oils by a friend, she basically said you need to replace you will replace your medicine cabinet with essential oils. So basically every single we don't take any medicine, so but if we did, like you know, your Tylenol and your Advil and all the crap that people have in their medicine cabinets, take it all out and there's an essential oil, and they gave me this book, you probably have it it's a thick, thick medical book, and you look up any ailment and it'll tell you which oil how the oil can be used. And what the you know what it what the remedy is. Rainbeau Mars Is it the modern essential book? Lisa Beres I think that might be. Its gray. Oh my god, I love it. You just flip it open. And then Oh, hey, you know you have a headache. Okay, rub this here or certain oils, right? You can inhale and some you can even adjust, but some you can't. Right. Rainbeau Mars You, could, there's an app, it's the same thing. Lisa Beres That book was like $100. So yeah, an app would be cheaper. Rainbeau Mars You might there's two apps that I like to use, it's um, I like modern essentials. And there's also essential life. And it's, it's really, it's such an amazing time to realize that every single one of us can learn how to heal ourselves at home. And this is we're talking pennies, actually to the dollar. So just even to try something where it's almost uncanny to me because it's all I've ever known. I haven't taken a single chemical since I was 19. That doesn't mean I don't have headaches and digestive issues and all the same situations and as it or things go off in the women's health area. But like I honestly like you couldn't pay me to try to trust something that was made in a lab duplicating some duplication of a duplication as opposed to like the pure. Lisa Beres You can't patent nature. You can't patent a plant; you can't patent a plant. Rainbeau Mars That's true. But also, what was never happened before was we didn't have it wasn't strong enough all the time. I mean, to be honest, like the volatile oils were missing. So, what I found in growing up, there was always like, you just got to let it take its course. But now when I'm taking these supplements, this lifelong vitality, my immunity honestly has raised so much I finally have not been getting my weekly, not my weekly, my monthly will leave, I used to get an annual Bronco action. I used to Oh, travel and I also got jetlag but it would take me a week to repair from like, when I was on a flight. Yeah, I started taking lifelong vitality. I just like it took me a while but then it felt like all my organs just reset. Wow, granted, and you'll watch people kind of their skin will look better, they'll look 10 years younger, and I don't know, walking commercial. Lisa Beres But when people are looking for me to put all this in the show notes listener so if you guys are like wait, slow down, I'm going to put the links to the app to the books and everything. Rainbeau Mars Mother Nature knows best for sure. So even if a doctor might not know how to sort of comprehend and regenerate your system, as much as mother nature does know. Lisa Beres Ron and I. Ron, remember the other day the TV was on and this commercial came out for some pharmaceutical and you know, we all laugh at the pharmaceutical commercials like, hey, let's play volleyball and you know, and then and then they go into the list of side effects. And I was in the kitchen and you were doing something and we just looked at each other and started cracking up like you know suicidal tendencies and death and this and this and you're like, why would you take this drug? The side effects are worse than the element that they're trying to supposedly carry you from it's so comical and people just say, Oh, I got to have my drug I got to have you know, they get reliant on that and they don't even think they think like that's your you got to weigh that risk. It's not worth it. It's not worth it not when there's natural things. Ron Beres I told you that's true. those commercials do that. And they're it's frustrating to watch that. But I think our listeners right now are thinking okay essential oils, they can help cure me What does rainbow do so she goes to her app she's filling a particular symptom she's looking up essential Life Application and she's finding out which essential oil she should use to help remedy the situation right? I don't want to put words in your mouth is that what you typically do if you don't know. Rainbeau Mars if you don't know yes look it up anything you have, I feel stressed I feel anxious I feel like I feel some anxiety I feel like I'm have a wrinkle today. I feel like I've got maybe skin cancer I don't care what it is like look it up. You know, don't be like oh, I don't know all that there is to know there's we're learning new things every day. I will be the highest vibration of oils that pretty much kind of helps with everything is Rose. And it's like the highest vibration in the garden. And it is the queen of the oils. Oh. And you know a rose is edible. So, like just to use that oil like few drops in the bath maybe on the heart, I'll be honest, it's it can be pricey because it's takes time. Lisa Beres I was going to say Rose is one of the pricier oils. Rainbeau Mars Yeah. So that's why it is nice to work with a sustainable source. But also, Frankincense I think would be, you know, the king. And there's many other things like if you were just going to get three that was affordable, it would be lavender, lavender, and lemon and you know, teach we all are peppermint. Those are the basics and they will help with you can pretty much if you just have like those four, if whatever it is, it's a burn, it's a Twitch, it's a it's a that you know, you'll have something to you look it up. So yeah, that's all. Ron Beres In this app will it tell you these certain essential oils, for example, you are edible, or you only put them on your skin where you place them, right, the more detail? Rainbeau Mars So far, the only one that is CPTG is doTERRA. So, it won't say which brand modern essential oils or essential I won't say which brand so you can choose obviously which ones that you have, I would not trust any other for sure oils. If it doesn't say it's a supplement on the bottle, then it's not a supplement. And that's why a guide is important to have someone you we want to empower you to like, totally know how to heal yourself. But in the beginning, it's nice to be like, okay, where do I start. And that's why the actual supplements where we have these pills, we also have probiotics and enzymes. But people can start sort of like with a daily habit of taking these things along with the food and people just reset their organ system, it seems to reset, I've watched people lose 25 pounds without even changing their diet because we're so depleted and so many things. But one organ system starts working where we're good. Lisa Beres And yeah, Rainbow when you were saying like, you know, you used to just need the oils, and then it started getting like, or, oh, it takes you a week to get through something. And I think that has to do with our environments and the pollution and the just enormous amount of pollution that we're exposed to daily. So like you don't, you don't take any drugs or medication and you live a healthy life, but you're still having symptoms just like everybody, because we are not immune to pollution in our tap water and pollution in our air and the products and things that flame retardants and things that we're just exposed to and let alone that electromagnetic radiation. So, we have to make those extra steps to be really healthy today then say our grandparents had to they didn't have to work. They didn't have to go those extra steps because things weren't so toxic. Okay, so right now because we're dealing with the lockdown, and people are feeling so lonely and isolated and depressed and even suicidal. What are some oils or maybe some blends that you would recommend that could lift people's moods right now, but also might be good for the holidays? Rainbeau Mars Ooh, well, cinnamon is a great smell. They say that cinnamon makes people want to linger because it just smells sweet and spicy. Labradors. Obviously, I already mentioned his comments. Let's choose some other ones. Orange is a really nice one that you could use in your water and yeah, cocktail or libation. Okay, and again, that's if it's food grade. And then I just love the idea of white fur. So, you don't have maybe a Christmas tree diffused early air, it smells like a Christmas tree. And I do just on your last note, I have to say that I have not had a cold in over four years, but it was taking the supplements that changed me. So I used to even on live foods and even on my cleanses which I love to do I would get I would get run down like twice a year usually if I was flying internationally a lot because I flew internationally a lot, though, but when I finally started taking those up, things are not a thing. And then there are ones like the ones you mentioned the thieves blend that has the clove and the cinnamon and the rosemary is a nice one to use. I love it also in your food and your cookie and your tonics like with your cow. Yeah, a little bit of peppermint with your chocolate blend. But just as soon as I start taking the supplements, I feel that I actually can be a little more lenient with what it is that I'm eating as far as like, just I'm eating more oatmeal and grains and I'm just eating more warmed comfort foods, I can always do a life and cleanse so I do I just wanted to let you know that super healthy immunity since those like, Lifelong Vitality. Lisa Beres Are those supplements that you're talking about? Do they have essential oils in them? They do. Rainbeau Mars And that's what's so hard. I don't see they have like coenzyme, q 10, and gingko all the good stuff. Like if there were 30 bottles of stuff that's like the best ever like, Okay, I'm going to get the best vitamins, magnesium in the past everything. It all here like Harvard science needs Mother Nature. Lisa Beres And what's it called pure vitality? Rainbeau Mars Its the lifelong vitality nutrients. By the way, there's we so know, they're so good that they're $79 with the money back guarantee. And so, because they really work like I give them to people all the time, so I'm like, just have an experience. And it took me a long time to take them myself. Because I had been people had toward me and vitamin companies. And I'd be like, yeah, like, I didn't actually, I just never really felt it. I would throw them kind of under the I would believe in them, but I just didn't feel the difference. Yeah, they didn't really take them. Lisa Beres We've all had that you by them. Rainbeau Mars Finally go like, okay, and then if you do get a little rundown, there's things for that too, like the Onguard soft gels or the tries, but I feel like you're really letting me talk about feels like a commercial. But I really don't mean in that way. It's just nice that like, there is something I on my I can, I can guarantee from my experience. I've seen it change my life. And I've watched it change pretty much everyone that goes for it around me. It's it becomes it's exciting. But again, it's a testament to Mother Nature. Lisa Beres I'm glad you're talking about it a lot, because we've got a lot of articles on Ron and lisa.com about essential oils, but it's very, a lot of them get very surfacey hey, here's a blend, you know, to put in your diffuser for the summer to lift up whatever. But to hear so many of these like especially the medical aspects of it, and how this is working with your cellular communication and you're penetrating the cells like you talked about and things like that. I don't think a lot of people get into all of those details when they talk about oils, they'll talk about oh oils in your bath or in your candles but this is great. This is great. I think this is important for people speaking of oils and your candles and you had mentioned hey it could say essential oil and only have a little bit this is so common with candles you guys and now that it's the holidays beware because you can buy a candle that says made with essential oils and it can have a drop and the rest can be synthetic fragrance. So, you definitely need a candle that has either all essential oils 100% or just unscented because this synthetic fragrances in your house are not good you don't want to be you don't want to be polluting your home with more chemicals. Ron Beres So real quick question two so you had mentioned Lisa and you both talked the glass container and shelf life are these essential oils right off the bat I was thinking like how long do they last because I have Frankincense that's probably three or four years maybe five years old? I don't know if it's good anymore but I still want to use it so what do you what do you do? Lisa Beres It smells good. Ron Beres Yeah, so I still can smell it. Rainbeau Mars I think there's a certain level of like you know; honey never goes bad. It's so I think essential oil is made to be it's the volatile oil so in it in its essence it is antibacterial that said if you look at a bottle and it seems really funky and you don't like smell I don't know what brand you're using but if you're like uh I probably you know maybe I would put it in a bath and like dump it just depends. Lisa Beres Oils will tend to smell right? Your nose knows. Rainbeau Mars Youll know. Itll just look different. That's the thing about these water distillation they just haven't I trust these ones were you know it might be even if the it said expired five years ago if it looks good I probably at least use it topically or for these but I think you have to use your intuition. Lisa Beres Yeah, I think so. A lot of this is your intuition I know you were talking about we're talking about the glass bottles. Rainbeau Mars Well you said the glass bottles in the dark bottles and I know people get really adamant about that for sure. And I and I've just heard people say Don't you know store in cool for sure. But I noticed when you have really good clean product that it has a lot more it's going to stand out okay. Yeah, not such a big there's no there's not as much fear it's like you know what? To get rid of the most important thing like if you were in an essential situation, like Don't be like you know get kicked out of the house because a fire because COVID or whatever it is. And an earthquake, grab all your oils and use them they're going to come in handy. Lisa Beres Leave your photos grab the oil. Rainbeau Mars Thats for sure what I would grab and I wouldn't look at the expiration date. You could use them for something whether it was a scrape or a burn or something I really do think that there as you mentioned, medical first aid kit that's what they are. They're portable for easy to go. Lisa Beres Yeah, I was going to say that and going back to the glass bottles with drinking water. I want to I want to touch on this because you know there is an energy to everything. Everything is energy, everything is energy. Everything that looks solid to you is not it's actually energy and plastic. So, we run an I have our own water filtration Of course we filter own water. We do not buy plastic bottles anymore. We used to like everybody listening but we don't anymore. And I'll tell you we only Drink from a glass now. So we buy mineral water that's in a glass or we filter we put in the glass and Whoa, you guys, like your water tastes so good out of glass like I can't even drink plastic when someone gives it to me like, you know, wherever the hair salon or whatever and oh my god, it tastes so gross and we got so used to that taste. I'm totally going on a tangent here, but I wanted to just reiterate that to people like take the extra two steps to put your water and glass you'll notice a huge difference and you won't get the breakdown of those plastic chemicals. Every single plastic every single plastic was tested just have endocrine disrupting activity, meaning it messes with your hormonal system, every single plastic, not just BPA, people think it's just BPA no every single plastic. Rainbeau Mars So, and then if you're using if you're using glass, of course which you have to I mean, we're all using either glass or clay at this point. I hope no one's using plastic. But then a drop you mentioned also for the holidays like I said cinnamon but also that's good as a good substitute for sugar. So diabetic people that are attending to use sugar or other sweeteners try using cinnamon or clove. Some of those are really nice. Lisa Beres Oh, very good. Perfect for the holidays. Yes, spice up your food. Ron Beres You've actually mentioned about a dozen different essential oils that we can use for the holidays from lavender to cinnamon orange to white, furry even then some of the traditional ones like rose and frankincense, but our listeners are thinking, Hey, you know essential oils are expensive. How do I justify buying these you know, this is a lot of money, you're in fact even mentioned you take them out of your house first with you because their price? Rainbeau Mars You know, they're really, they're really, to me the most affordable, inexpensive thing because like let's say, let's say a bottle of wild orange is only $10, which is one of the more affordable ones but as far as something that's going to be antibacterial, antimicrobial and antiviral, like I could take it in so many ways. And it's portable. One of my mother's one of my mom's quotes, but the best thing you could try is something you could try right now. So, I don't ever leave home without a few bottles. And if I went to like a doctor each time, I had a little thing and I said hey, what do I do for this and then I bought a prescription and that's a whole cost in itself. So okay, so back to price I just won. They're not there to me they're actually super affordable. I couldn't go to most of the mainstream stores and find anything for $10 $20 $40 even $60 that is of the quality that this is that says more as sort of alluded directly to our doorstep. We also have obviously not just me of cleaning care skincare, you know, the Yarrow, so as far as people buy stuff for their skin, that's like so much more. Lisa Beres Yes, people spend lots of money on their skincare. Rainbeau Mars I think they're affordable. It is nice to know, though that if like one bottle, like where it's going to like whose job is it creating the cohorts impacting helping to elevate the planet that to me makes a difference. So, this to me is like, beyond our you can use it instead of spices for your cooking like you're out of, you know, rosemary, put some rosemary in your chips. We're out of turmeric you know turmeric it will have a much longer shelf life than other turmeric washy turmeric probably okay, but I would say the oil even longer so yeah. It's not that they're expensive that I would bring them it's because they are essential. The king and queen of everyone in Egypt, they buried in their tomb, they have their areas of oils, it's like their tomb and their oils. Lisa Beres They took them with them to the afterlife. Rainbeau Mars Yeah, the grave diggers like stole some, but it's this is considered, you know, the speed was annoying to them, I do way less, have to sort of work as hard and be less physically, like hard on myself, I just the plants are so helpful. So, I love that they don't work if you're not taking them. So, the reason why I just yeah, I get excited about it, because they really, really do work and when we allow ourselves to receive the medicine that they have. And so why I couldn't imagine going a few days without them at this point. So that I would have to take them. Lisa Beres You know, you're talking about the life cycle and the way that the oil touches every part safe from production to end use and unlike, say, a drug a pharmaceutical, where Oh, you can't even dump that in the trash or down the toilet because that's going to end up back in our waterways. Right? You'd have to take back programs where you can take them back to the pharmacy, but those are going to contaminate at some point right and I don't know if you guys knew this study but they found high levels of birth control in the water supplies the city water supplies because the city people were throwing birth control down the toilet. So, the birth control and Prozac and antidepressants coming back into the waterways and the city municipal. The city municipalities do not filter Prozac and birth control. They filter very minimal they filter you know bacteria and things but they don't filter Heavy metals and pharmaceuticals and things like that. So, there is that investment I think you're talking about, like for people who go, oh, but it's a little more expensive. Think about the life cycle of how that's touching every part of our world, not just you, and your home and all of that. Ron Beres That's a very part sustainable. Lisa Beres I want to Yeah, I want to segue into food, because we have, I know, that's a big passion of yours as it is ours. And there's a lot of people who are still eating the sad the standard American diet, and they want to get healthier, but they're in that little perpetual cycle, and they really don't know where to start. So, what would you say is a good thing to get going on eating more plants, plant-based diet? Rainbeau Mars I love I want to answer in a sense that there's Who do you Who do you agree to when there's Who do you listen to when there's this person who says that thing in this book that says that and where do you go, I would say look always to nature, the types of cycles where we see things that have been being done in the world. And so, if you look outside in nature, and you look at the way that Mother Nature sort of providers, for instance, the green element, it's her way of saying, like, eat me eat me a lot. There are things that are sort of high up in a tree that are like fruits, and it's like, okay, you don't eat that when you want some higher energy. And then there's the things that are in the ground like the garlic or the potatoes and it's like, okay, eat me to stay closer to the ground have that comfort the grain and we see color, so that we can eat the seven colors of the rainbow so that we're looking for food, just like the you know, the pollinators are pollinating with three fourths of every bite of food that we eat. And, you know, there's all this sort of life that has been created when we are devoid of life when we are devoid of enzymes and electricity and color. So, are we devoid of life if we're eating dead, cooked, wasted, fried, kind of killed fear-based energetics, that's what we are live? So just look for what is it that you want to be and look to nature to see like, how can we live harmoniously with that and obviously, you know, the strongest animals in the world, like the gorillas and the you know, chimpanzees. Lisa Beres And the hippos. They're all vegetarian, it's, I know, it's really funny because people go, Oh, I can't be a vegan, I need my muscles. I'm like, Look, in nature, the biggest animals are pretty much vegetarian, most of them. I think that's great rainbow, I love that. And I eat the rainbow eat foods that are colorful, like when we went vegan, four and a half years ago, almost why we noticed our plates became so vibrant in color, you know, because you're forced to eat more veggies, you don't get stuck on a couple vegetables that you're just going to rotate every week, you know, you're like, I've got to be creative now and bring in new dishes and new vegetables into my fruits for that matter. But I love that, you know, looking at where it's grown, I've never heard that before. Rainbeau Mars And also, I have to add just like that everything. If you think that it should, it should cost less money. But as far as things that we could be growing that just aren't is free. Like for instance, a dandelion is something that has the it's so good for our liver is actually really good for depression, which we somehow skipped out of that question, but it's all right, depression and mental health and those types of things that we might be struggling with. And if there's not enough money, or like people actually survived the Great Depression off of there with the weeds. And so, we actually usually recognize five different logos but we don't recognize the wild edible plants that would be growing if we weren't spraying them, your kind of also touched on the environmental toxicity. So as far as allowing whatever plot of land that you have to be regenerated with soil and then seeds that the earth wants to create for us could be the best medicine that we could possibly find for our liver for our depression for our mental health. And it also gives us something to focus on like growing some seeds and taking out particularly your grass and thinking well instead of going to the store and use using gasoline for my mint tea, I'm going to have some mints here I'm going to have some rosemary here so just like the essential oils which we push so much but I mentioned a lot but any herbs have immunities any plants any flowers edible flower so growing something wherever you are and considering obviously because it is going to be something that you're digesting ingesting using your essential oils though to attract the pollinators and to deflect the pests is a really great way to be also part of the environmental solution as well as keeps us really excitingly busy because these little children in our in our home. Ron Beres Again, though, you said to track the pollinators we actually had a phrase a little while ago to said three fourths of pollinators do what and why are we attracting them? What's that whole? Rainbeau Mars The bees are responsible for every three fourths of food especially for eating plant based so the reality that plants and flowers and fruits and everything that needs to be pollinated that if we get if we do lose those vital energies and phytonutrients that no siphons the chlorophyll The beta carotene, the, you know, all of the lycopene, the things that are in these colors. And we're not we don't have bees because we've sprayed nano, what are they notonectids on our crop and this sort of the other stuff that's polluting our environment, then the bees are dying. And then we're like, well, what are we going to live off of to get those nutrients like our energy and health level is going to decrease so much. And then we're going to wonder why we have hip replacements and why we're in the hospital knows what. So, we still have hope that's the thing is like, right now, there's a really good document, I'm sure you saw it kiss the ground. And that really climate change is based on regenerative agriculture. So, going into us regenerating the earth, everything is something right where you live, it doesn't mean it's out there. Like in a neighborhood, there are some scientists, but if we just start giving back to ourselves, giving back to our garden, getting off of the chemicals and onto the plants, we can save ourselves. A lot of hope there's so much we can do. That's good. Lisa Beres I love that you say there's hope because you know, there is a lot of fear mongering in every area right now, especially these crazy times we're in and with the G with a lot of the food becoming genetically modified, right? It's now salmon and apples and crazy food. So obviously soy corn and all the things everybody is familiar with. But there's so many things coming out that people are not aware of they're trying to genetically modify that food is dead, that food is like lifeless, just like just like you talked about earlier. dead animal flesh. I don't know how else to say it. But that's really what it is when you're eating a dead cow or a dead chicken or a dead fish. I mean, it's a dead animal flesh that was cut. There's no lifeforce in it. So, do you. If someone said to you, hey, rainbow, should I give up meat and dairy and poultry altogether? Or moderation? Or? Rainbeau Mars It's a good question. A lot of people assume I am a vegan, just by definition, I do have the 21-day superstar cleanse book and do eat mostly plants. But I'm a flexitarian in the sense that I can't decide for each person at all time what someone needs to eat for their medicine. There has been times and I was raised primarily vegetarian, too. So, it wasn't like I was eating certain way. And then one day, I was like, I'm just not going to eat that which I think could be a really good idea to take a break from animals for as long as you can. I think it's probably single handedly. I mean, the factory farming industry is for sure. One of the biggest problems on our planet. So, we would all benefit from it. Least eradicating factory farming at the minimum, allowing our animals to roam on the ground as they could be and allowing people to choose if there was an animal that died, for instance of natural reasons. And that animal sacrifices life, the way that the natives ate, the way that certain cultures feel that they know that there is a life there. And they give thanks to that life. Yeah, people eat animals, they should know what it's like to kill it. It shouldn't be like, well, I just have this person who does it for me. So probably your community, people are already plant based. Lisa Beres Same thing with wearing fur. I think if you're going to buy fur and leather, leather is a little trickier for people, but you should know how that was actually made. And you should see that because they always tried to ban the PETA videos. And I'm like, well, this is what's happening. Why are we not showing people I mean, I know it's disturbing, but we're, if we're buying that we're continuing those industries and those poor animals that that have feelings and families and friends, right? They even have friends like they deserve a quality life, just like anybody else. Rainbeau Mars Its true. But I have to sad to look around, because I have this handy down in the background for my grandmother. And it's like my grandfather's initials are in there. And, you know, it's nothing that I would have ever bought. So, people would give it away or at, I don't wear it around anyone to somebody, I just it's just to keep it warm. It reminds me of her but it makes me realize that there's an entire community or whatever people on this planet that don't necessarily that's just the way that they've been doing it. And I'm not going to necessarily Who's Who am I to know like what that person's philosophy is. I think the most important thing is love, like how do we find the similarities within each other and go to love and, you know, the parts of my grandmother that I've taken on I tried to embrace but that's it's an on the same subject where like, I can't judge even what someone's wearing, because I don't know the story behind it. Lisa Beres And was it me? Right, exactly. What? Yeah, like, was it a hand me down, or right? Something like that. Rainbeau Mars We kill ourselves off of judgment and anger? And that's just a really tricky thing for me every time I'm sort of like, okay, like, this is the way everyone like, now we all are going to do this. And then each time I'm like, so I've had some humility and just saying like, well, because I found spiritual people that eat meat and I found you know, I found very unspiritual people that you know, our life Don't ever so I think the biggest most important rule is love and love. Ron Beres Yeah. Love the strongest energy. Lisa Beres Yeah, that is the understatement of the century. And it's actually the understatement of the year because we're in such a political chaos. A time and with the pandemic and the you know, so health and politics and all of these things kind of converging. And you're right. I think when you see the fighting online and the families being torn apart over political viewpoints, you know, years ago Oh, you like that movie? I don't I like this movie. We didn't have to get in a fight and not be friends over. All right. So, it's crazy, how much this? What do you want to call it this pulling apart of people as happens? And I think that our egos get in the way, we're all guilty of it. Because we want to be right, right? We want our opinion is right. And that means our opinions better than you. And that's just the ego. And if we can pull the ego aside, which is a daily practice, right? I mean, this is where meditation comes things, you have to remind yourself, you have to remind yourself every day to not judge and to not feel that your way is the only way. So that was a great reminder, for everybody. Ron Beres There Great point. So, if so, many people are focused on eating good and exercising but not a meditation or other ways to stay Sen. grounded. So, you know, how important is emotional wellness, you know, especially in today's challenging landscape, which Lisa has talked about. Rainbeau Mars I think it's everything, I feel really grateful that I've been studying this path actually bought some gnosis numa and in a way, it's sort of like a parallel, not really Buddhist at all. But there's some practices that are kind of what you said, you just mentioned, Lisa, but it's like to let go of that which we are not really in we have to look we're finding those things every day like am I just not jealous, am I just got mad Is that who I really am. So to just observe that, so like to let go of that and then to awaken that which is like so when I let go of that jealousy or that anger, there might be more compassion or more love there so that we want you know, it's like, it's like a garden is a good analogy, composts The other thing open to what is and then to serve to be in service. So, we need our jewels to help us to focus on our emotional mental health. And without what we get sort of cut up in our world will all go crazy with the at the Buddhist thing of 82,000 egos. So not just one but like a lot. Ron Beres We're shedding 80,000 ego. Lisa Beres No wonder there's political fighting. Rainbeau Mars The native Indian say 10,000, the natives never even as much as we think they were all like peaceful people, they were actually not all at peace with each other. So, we see that the ego is everywhere. It's within all of us. It doesn't matter what color, what sex, what political affiliation, it is there. So to be an emotional wellness and mental wellness is to just have a daily practice where you're doing something to help you come back to what is true, like is this really true this energy that because there's stuff that we feel that is part of what we're seeing out there, that we can't change it out there, but we can change it within ourselves. And so, there's opportunity to us, for us to have these things that are going to arise and then to transform it is really, it's really so beautiful. And that's the psychological gymnasium that we've come here for. And to be in a process of like, I'll just end with those three jewels of like, for me having a mission of not just transforming my own home and garden, but the mission of this neighborhood because Lao Tzu says peace in the world but first peace in your own home, your own family, then your neighbors, then we can have peace so then I have to look at my neighborhood and go like Okay, what about that person across the street and that person and we're working together right now to have like food forest through the whole entire street and every AP it gives us you know, I talked about this like the little minute, the little sort of garden here like a little dollhouse of like, each passion fruit, for instance, that I grow could be a baby like it's like a strawberry guava, but then you've got a whole neighborhood where we're working together to do something to get out of the way that's been the problem and to start to water and plant the solution. And kind of focus on that and look at like, okay, like I'm not going to get mad so much these people are not at peace yet. But I'm going to look for it within myself. Lisa Beres And be an example. Rainbeau Mars Yet it doesn't mean that any of that is going to be easy. The goodness of it is about the people the hardness of is about the people but we'll keep coming back to ourselves and say, I can change myself and we can change the whole the whole game like that. So, what is your What is your own heart? And what is your own home? And how does it extend from there? Lisa Beres Oh, that was so beautiful. I love that was that was beautiful. And a lot of we kind of touched upon the depression earlier, especially with the teens. What do you think is the reason that that the kids are struggling so much right now? Do you think it's a disconnect with all the technology and the isolation and like that they're not really taught? I know there's that place? What is it Fairfield, Iowa where they have the meditation school? Forget the name of it the Ron Do you remember the name of that meditation school? It's Transcendental Meditation school, but the children are raised to learn how to meditate. They met. During their class during their day at school, and like, if there's any fight they meditate over, it's really neat. So, do you think that's the issue that we're just kind of got so disconnected as a society? Rainbeau Mars I mean, yeah, there's so many answers to that question. But I the first thing I think of is honestly how we just aren't we did become so based around the dollar, like, it's not like we had a lot of spiritual like priority, which could be considered to a lot of people freedom, and to a lot of people like, now the bank is at the center of our community in so many ways, even with our parents being on our phone or them doing emails, and then the kids are on the technology, there is definitely in whole, a whole energy of AI that I that is for sure, one of just another demon for us to go like. So, where's the psychological gymnasium? For sure. And there's, um, and I've said that so many times in this conversation, but I think of sort of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and in a sense that we're walking each other home through this. And the truth is, is like, death is inevitable for all of us. So but is it even real, so it from a Yogi's perspective, it's not real, so but we're in a society where we are so disconnected that of course, the teenagers and the children are like, their if our parents are not even seeking spiritual, emotional and mental health, unable to invite their kids to do the same things. Now start now, you got to start it now. I mean, humanity in a sense is going to evolve, but the children have to start to awaken First, we can't just keep perpetuating the same thing over and over while I fell. I just think that there's this thing that happens with parents, from around 13 to 18. I've watched a lot Well, okay, they didn't drink bleach under the sink. So, they're alive. And now Are you good? Okay, you're good. Yeah, no, be present. I mean, it was such an interesting thing for me to be a young mom, and to have a child and to be raised by parents that I think this is the situation with so many of us that didn't get the perfect manual that were not necessarily loved themselves. And one of my teachers said, you know, like, anything that you don't think you don't fight is something that you're saying yes to. And so, to like to hold, to have discipline and to have like, the courage to raise our children in a way that does prioritize love and natural healing. And I can't believe I'm getting so emotional about this. But I feel like, We're so lucky with you. I'm so lucky that Jade is so awesome, right? But really, a lot of parents are just like, I remember going to her school making vegetable soup. And the parents being like, oh, they're not going to eat that. An all the kids totally did eat it. It's like, we're just we're just connected and weren't. So, it's I like to forget sometimes how the night like there's a lot of people that are still like, wouldn't even make vegetable soup for their kid. And they might give their kids a medication thinking that they've got a DD? Whereas really, they're just eating too much sugar. So yeah, because I was raised. And that's where I can one of my egos for sure would be, like just pride of just thinking like, come on. That's basic stuff. Everyone don't we already knew that. Let's go to that stuff, let's say. But this is still really relevant to me is baffling. And so there are natural medicines that work Don't try to hook and it's just about presence and facing the fear and the things that we think we want to run away from if we can just kind of breathe into that and get on the mat or start with some yoga is a great thing for kids. Because Yeah, it is the meditation, it's ultimately the thing that will help you to observe and analyze and, and comprehend but I think Yoga is a meditation in action. So, for people that can't stand still, yeah, a nice place to start for some people. Lisa Beres I took a friend to yoga class once and she could not sit still at the end, when they've been what's it called, at the end, when you lay down? Rainbeau Mars Savasana. Lisa Beres She was sitting up and the whole class was dark, and the whole class was laying down. It's my favorite part of the class. I'm like, Oh, you know, you feel so good. And I look and she's sitting up and I'm thinking, Oh, no, there's my ego embarrassed. She was. But I afterwards I'm like, what is going on? And she's like, I just couldn't relax. And she's you know; she was a very high-strung person at the time running her business. Go, go, go, go, you know that, that whole glorification of busy and now she's really into yoga, by the way and loves it. So, what do you think is the future? How does the future look for us? Like? Yes, I like how you call it the, the something gymnasium, but do you feel that we are all ascending? I believe too that we transition, we don't die, we just transition? Are we all going to make it out? Is it a choice? Is it a test? Should people stop being so fearful of COVID and all of the stuff that's going on right now? Rainbeau Mars Fear is definitely a pandemic for sure. Fear definitely lowers our immunity. system? Will we all make it out of here alive? For sure not I think no one will. We're all going to make it out of here not alive is the truth. And when you can get to that. But its a funny question because I mean, it's the deepest. That's the thing that we're the most afraid of, of all things. There's a really good episode, I have to give a shout out to the last episode of midnight gospel, that's this whole, like, the guy dies and gets reborn through the mother, son. And I feel like everyone could benefit of watching that it's an animation, it's pretty easy to watch, like ROM das makes a little sentence at the end. The Gospel, it's the last episode is the one I'm talking about. So as far as what is going on, I just would say that we we've kind of been running around perpetuating the cycle of a very toxic way of being for a very long time. And I think I think I'm sure everyone's seen that mean, that it's time for us to go, you know, be sent to our rooms. You know, I used to ask this question like, is it true that no one in the body saw philosophy is no one gets enlightened until we all do? And I asked, I've asked a couple of really big sort of saints or spiritual leaders this question, and one person said it was actually a ricochet and in Buddhism said, if you want to make a billion dollars, so you can feed a million people, that's a very noble thing to do. And then I also have done a Maria, who was one of my teachers, she's a 95-year-old Incan priestess struck by lightning twice, she can actually make it rain like she is. So, for her heart is so open, she works with the elementals. Not that she would say she can make it rain, but I've seen it happen over and over and over again. So, there's people still that are on the planet. And I said to her, like someone said, learn how to astral travel, you can't you can't save the world. Someone said that. So, these are the types of features. I said, is there hope then? She says there's always hope to teach her brothers and sisters about the importance of nature and the earth and the elements. And they you know, she didn't say God, but that to me, it's like the Divinity the divine genius there. Yeah. So above, so below. So. And then one other piece of this conversation I've been having. And this is like lifelong seeking. And I've said but so like, I've asked that question. Again, it's like the merits of our hearts as we are in service as we're in the cycle of, you know, life, death, death, life rebirth, and really, really having faith and really having faith that whatever it is that we're faced with that, if we can choose love, if we can choose to go back to the basics, and forgive and peace and one person one thing at a time, you know, that is eternal, that lasts forever, but I do think that there's, you know, a lot of fear on the planet that is trying to control a lot of other people. And, you know, we're very much in the unknown. And we have to trust that if you are in right action, and you know, it's good to pray, it's good to have your daily practices, it's good to be doing the right thing and being for solution and working with companies that are part of the solution. And making your own difference in your home and with your kids and, and, and getting on our knees in a new way. Like just kind of with our people with the people that we love, like needing the belly to belly face to face like what matters and just not getting ahead of ourselves because that's just like kind of coming to our hearts every day. And if we can go to the basics, um you know, it says it is, it's a spiritual war. And this has been prophesized, and no, no, sir damas, this has been it's been shown for a long time that this moment would happen. And I don't have all the answers but I do know that like the earth has our back I dug a bathtub in my garden just so I can like go sit. Lisa Beres I saw a picture on Instagram. I'm like, what is that she's in some outdoor bathtub that looks like volcanic rock. Rainbeau Mars Behind my house because I don't know, I just know that if I can transform that the fear is in all of them. So, the fear is within anger. It's within every single ego that we have. So, there's a lot of fear. So, if we can just when we're when we're in a state of peace. Lisa Beres Anything is possible. I do feel like the fair is so paralyzing for people. I mean, Ron and I really don't feel any fear around this at all. And some people are like, how is that possible? I just don't for millions for millions of reasons. We live a really healthy lifestyle and I believe in your immune system. doing its job if you let it and you honor and you trust it and just trusting like you know, the solutions are there if you need them and hey, like you said, we are all going to expire. Don't you want to enjoy your time like when you could walk out the door and be hit by a car tomorrow? There's no guarantee. So why not make every day great you know, why not create your reality bubble and make it as good and positive as you can because that's your choice. And I think people kind of forget that and they get really into the news and the fear mongering and that's just wasting your life. That's just wasting your time. Rainbeau Mars 1,000% agreed period. Whatever we focus on expands. So, we the way out is the way in. And we are all walking each other home. And we can do this and we just have to like James Cameron said it you know, if you're not part of the solution, your part of the problem. But we've known this and we knew that something crazy was going to happen. Mm hmm. So here we are, like, we're in that moment. Lisa Beres It's just a little crazier than I think we thought. Rainbeau Mars Yeah, but like imagine what else you know. Of course, it's going to be and it could be more so yeah, it's really kind of like bumpy hitting have a great awakening. So, what are we going to do with the challenges that were brought? And you lean in and do you choose love and do you awaken and do you just go you know; it starts with me or do you keep waiting for someone else to do it? Just look on the news. Lisa Beres Giving your power away. Yeah. Rainbeau Mars But the good news is there's so much we could do and I feel like if we're connected, and we stay in that in those practices, then we it can be it can be a win win. I think you can't lose. Lisa Beres You can't lose. I think you're 100% right I think that's really good sum up this entire episode. Return to love right Course in Miracles you're either going towards fear or love you can't have both they cannot coexist. You have to choose your either fearful or your love. So, if you're fearful you're not in love. Keep yourself in that love energy. Do that daily practice like rainbow said get on the mat get your kids on the mat. Do the meditations teach your kids about food grow food with your kids make food with your kids. Ron Beres Eat high energy foods you know use essential oils that are raising your energy to because it's about our energy making sure that its high, right? Lisa Beres Right and get those get those essential oils I'm going to get the orange to add to my water. Rainbeau Mars Ive got to get to the supplements you can try them. I'm excited. Ron Beres You're so funny because you mentioned part of that something you mentioned gingko. Lisa Beres And Ron loves Gingko. Ron Beres I swear by ginkgo. And for the longest I had a memory problem and I and I started taking this a regular supplement of ginkgo, and my memory has expanded tremendously. Lisa Beres It changed him, Rainbeau. He would go to the store and he will get four things and you always come back with two and like, Oh, I forgot the other two. He started taking ginkgo it did take a little while to kick in. Man. He is like so sharp. Now. He's always reminding me things and it used to be the other way around. Rainbeau Mars Okay, do take copaiba yet, or Frankincense? Ron Beres I yes, I have Frankincense on we I didn't use it for that purpose, but I should use that. Rainbeau Mars So yeah, but and CPTG make sure it's a supplement but those copaiba and better bear along with gingko. I don't even know if I say gingko correctly. But you know these things. They're really powerful that they are powerful. I'm glad that I'm glad that thank you for doing all that you're doing. I really have enjoyed all some ups and the I feel like I'm I just feel so much better talking to you all. Lisa Beres Oh, this was really great.
